Simple little light sensor switch. The unit switches on and off (with a delay of about 7 seconds) a load dependent on the ambient light level. This unit switches the neg feed to the load (max 5A untested) but there is another version that switches the positive. The input Voltage range is wide, 8-50V but I have only tested at 12V. The light levels for triggering appear reasonable. From what I can see the unit itself is not waterproof but the front 'bolt through' sensor section is and is supplied with 2 rubber washers to ensure the seal to a box or similar. Self power of the unit appears very low and does not register on the simple bench supply current meter.
